Genevieve Ding
Head of APAC Sustainability, JPMorganChase
Genevieve Ding is Head of APAC Sustainability for JPMorgan, leading the firm’s regional sustainability engagement strategy. She works with APAC in-market leaders to support sustainability-related banking and investment needs of clients. She was previously Amazon’s Head of APAC Carbon Credits and Nature-based Solutions for Amazon’s Worldwide Sustainability team, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Head of APAC Sustainability Policy Strategy leading policies for sustainable innovation in data centre infrastructure and cloud services. Prior to that, she was in the Administrative Service of the Singapore Govt working with Singapore’s leadership across ministries to develop pioneering national policies on climate finance, mitigation, adaptation; carbon pricing, national R&D, and energy innovation to improve Singapore’s economic competitiveness in a sustainable way. She sits on the International Advisory Boards of the International Blue Carbon Institute and Climate Impact X. Genevieve holds BAs from Duke University in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics; an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from Oxford University; and a Certificate in Climate and Energy Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
