Sanctuary 1 (Level 3 Suntec Convention Centre)
The Eight Brocades, or Ba Duan Jin, is a classical Qigong sequence composed of eight flowing movements designed to activate the body’s energy channels and harmonize the flow of Qi – the vital life-force within. This gentle yet powerful practice has been passed down for centuries, supporting health, vitality, and inner balance.
Each movement is thoughtfully structured to stretch and strengthen key areas of the body, including the legs, hips, back, shoulders, neck, and core while cultivating internal alignment and energetic coherence. Practiced with breath awareness and focused intention, the Eight Brocades enhance circulation, improve flexibility, and calm the nervous system.
Accessible to all levels, this moving meditation invites participants into a rhythm of mindful motion that restores the body and quiets the mind. Whether you’re new to Qigong or deepening your existing practice, this session offers a grounded path to renewed energy, physical ease, and emotional clarity.
Step into balance – one breath, one movement at a time.
