Mabel Lee
Cultural Design Matters
Mabel Lee Chow is a Sogetsu ikebana teacher and floral artist whose practice bridges nature, mindfulness, and aesthetic simplicity. Holding a Grade 2 Jonin Sanyo teaching qualification, she has led workshops and exhibitions in Singapore and London, inviting participants into the meditative essence of Japanese flower arranging.
With a background in conservation architecture and training as a prana energy healer, Mabel brings a multidimensional lens to her ikebana work. Her arrangements reflect a harmonious dialogue between structure and spontaneity-honoring impermanence, asymmetry, and the quiet beauty of natural flaws.
Rooted in the Zen-inspired aesthetic of wabi-sabi, Mabel’s approach reveals the spiritual potential of space and stillness. Each composition becomes a contemplative experience-an invitation to slow down, connect, and rediscover the sacred in the simple.
Through ikebana, she cultivates presence, balance, and gentle transformation-offering more than art; she offers a practice of being.
