Magdalene is a culinary creator, TV host, and founder of popular baking channel Whisk & Fold. As a chef instructor, she is known for her warm personality, engaging style and recipes that work. She earned her Professional Diploma in Pastry and Bread from the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver in 2011, graduating as top pastry student. She then honed her craft at Vancouver’s famed patisserie Thierry under award-winning French Chef Thierry Busset.
Outside the kitchen, Magdalene is a sought after host, combining her media experience with her culinary expertise to host food shows, interview Michelin-starred chefs, and present at culinary events. Fuelled by her passion to share her love for baking, her online recipe channel has over 60,000 engaged followers, featuring trusted recipes, live bake-alongs and collaborations with food and wellness brands.
Magdalene is now part of the culinary team at OCTAVE, overseeing culinary programmes in Singapore. At Impact Week, she leads the hands-on culinary workshops exploring our connection with food and cooking with intention.
